What can I read for free?
Starter stories and grammar chapters are included in the app for offline use. You can also download free stories and grammar without signing in. One optional lifetime purchase unlocks the paid story library, including future paid story additions. There is no subscription; Apple displays your local price before purchase.
Download and resume lessons
Open Settings → Downloads to check or resume downloads. Once a lesson has finished downloading, you can read or listen offline. Downloads, reading position and saved words remain on the device across normal app updates. Uninstalling the app may remove them, so copy or export anything important first.
Restore the lifetime library
Sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, then use Settings → Restore purchases. Buying, restoring or downloading paid stories needs an internet connection. Apple handles payment and refunds; we do not receive card details. Restoring access on another device does not transfer local downloads or saved words.
Reading, audio and saved words
In the reader, turn pinyin and translation on or off as needed. Long-press a word to see its definition. The reading settings let you change the font, narrator, playback speed and pause between sentences. Save words as you read, then copy the list for that chapter for later study.
Delete your online account
Free reading does not require an account. If you signed in, use Settings → Delete account to remove the online account and its live purchase binding. Downloaded lessons and study data remain locally until you remove them or uninstall the app. See the app privacy policy for details.

Include the app version, story or grammar title, device and iOS version, what you did and what you expected. A screenshot can help. For a privacy or deletion question, tell us that in the subject line. Please do not include passwords or payment-card details.
